It's basically winter in NYC, so the only correct thing to do is to cozy up at a Ramen joint! Decided to hit up this UWS ramen spot on a random Wednesday evening. It's really cozy and kinda tight in there, but it is a vibe. My party ordered the green beans and the wings to start. Both were delicious, but the wings by far were my favorite. As for the ramen, they were good, not my favorite. The staff recommended what I got (sorry forgot the name), but I think that it lacked flavor. However my friend's ramen was far more delicious, so I think it's just the one I chose. I would definitely be back. Food came out quick and not too expensive.

Wow! Such fast service! I only picked up take out so I'll update my review when I go back for in person dining. As for my pickup experience, I was a touch early but the timing was PERFECT! As I gave my name my food was brought up to the front literally 1 second after I said my name. I was so impressed! Delicious ramen; wholesome broth, delicious toppings and perfect noodles! I've saved this spot for my future visits to the city. I'll be going back for sure!

Good ramen spot that can get pretty busy at times. I got their Tonkotsu Ramen and it had good chewy noodles and a hearty broth. The service was a little short-handed and were busy so got our Sake Flight midway through our meal unfortunately. Nonetheless, a good comfort ramen spot but service can be improved.

Solid ramen spot with good lunch specials. There's a variety of ramen, sobas, and rice bowls to choose from, all which look filling and tasty. I had the tonkatsu ramen and felt like the noodles were endless! The ramen probably could've benefitted from a bit more toppings to balance it out, but it was still a solid bowl overall. For apps, we enjoyed the shishito peppers and Japanese potato salad, but we felt that the potato salad was a comically small scoop and not worth the price. FYI, if your table spends over $50, you have a chance of spinning the prize wheel for a free dish during your next visit!

Nice lunch spot on a busy street in the Upper West side-- pork buns were by far my fav. So soft and tender, buns perfectly steamed and served with an amazing purple cabbage slaw. Edamame was salted with coarse sea salt which I appreciated. I think sadly the ramen and donburi were average. Good portion sizes and tasted good but nothing extraordinary in my opinion. My white peach calpico was yummy! Service was fast, attentive and yet not in your face. Given that we were sitting outside this was impressive! Nice small patio outdoors made the lunch ambiance super fun for a family day out.

This ramen spot has become one of my go-to places! I've been here multiple times, and each visit is just as great as the last. The consistency is truly impressive--every bowl of ramen is authentic, rich, and made entirely in-house, which really shows in the quality and depth of flavor. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, adding a warm, inviting atmosphere to every meal. I started with the pork buns as an appetizer, and they were absolutely perfect: tender pork with just the right amount of sweetness, soft buns, and a bit of crunch for balance. As for the ramen, it's everything you'd hope for--deep, savory broth that's full of umami, noodles with the perfect chew, and toppings that add layers of flavor to each bite. They don't take reservations, so you'll need to put your name on a list, but I actually like that because it's fair and reliable. The staff are always wonderful, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. If you're looking for a spot with authentic ramen and a welcoming vibe, this place is a must!

We absolutely loved Jin Ramen and will be back every time we are in the city. It wasn't too crowded when we got there and were seated immediately. Loved the decor and music that was playing throughout our time, wasn't too loud for conversation. We ended up ordering volcano tonkutsu ramen and shio ramen. All entrees come with a free yuzu which was delicious and very refreshing. The ramen came out very quickly and fast became my boyfriend's favorite. He finished his very quickly and he said it tasted like teriyaki to him which he loves. Mine was delicious as well but you must like a high amount of spice. The volcano house tare was a bundle of flavor and spice that went very well with the creamy broth. Price point was very reasonable and the amount of ramen you get is more than enough. This was exactly what we needed after a full day of walking around the museums and a short walk from our hotel and the natural museum of history. We will definitely be back.
